How do I attend a class?

All classes currently take place online via Zoom until further notice. For public classes, an email containing the Zoom meeting link and password will be sent to the email address you provide.

How does the referral program work?

Wine is made to be shared - and the same follows for wine classes! When you invite a new attendee to The Virtual Wine School, they can enter your name at checkout when signing up for a public class (Wine Fundamentals or Topics), or mention your name when making a Private Class inquiry. You will receive a code for 20% off a single public class of your choice. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. The more the merrier!

I’m considering signing up for the Wine Fundamentals course. What happens if I have to miss a class?

We get it, life happens. Each Wine Fundamentals class is recorded and is available upon request. Anyone enrolled in the Wine Fundamentals course can request a link to a recording of the class they missed. Please note that all links to recorded classes expire 24 hours after they are sent.

What is your cancellation policy?

Public classes have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If something comes up, please email us more than 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund and allow another person to take your spot. If you are enrolled in the full Wine Fundamentals course, you will have access to video recordings of the class you .

A 50% deposit is required to secure a date for a Private Class. The deposit is refunded in full if the Private class is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date. For cancellations within 48 hours, there is no refund of the deposit.

How will I know when new classes are available for registration?

All public classes that are available for registration are listed on The Virtual Wine School’s home page. Check back often for updates! Also join our mailing list below to receive email updates on new classes, promotions, and events. (Don’t worry, we hate spam too.)
